Quality Assurance Cell

Introduction

The Quality Assurance Cell (QAC) of the IBMBB was established in December 2016 with the intention of coordinating QA activities of the institute. Office space was allocated for QAC in 2017 (Room 414; 3 rd floor). It was furnished with the required resources for efficient service.

The first meeting of the QAC was held in March 2017.

The purpose of the QAC is to create a culture that seeks continuous improvement of the quality of all academic and other activities in the institute in line with the Quality Assurance and Accreditation Council of the University Grants Commission and Centre for Quality Assurance of the University of Colombo.
