A research, funded by International Centre for Genetic Engineering and Biotechnology (ICGEB) is also being conducted using hybridoma technology at the moment. Certain work such as immunohistochemistry are conducted in collaboration with other laboratories in the institution. The laboratory is equipped with all the technologies and equipment required to conduct a wide range of research, including BioTek Synergy HTX reader, refrigerated centrifuges, Class 2 biosafety cabinets, CO<sub>2<\/sub> incubators, water baths, a fume hood and a PCR machine. \u00a0BioTek Synergy HTX reader is a compact, economical multimode reader for 6- to 384-well microplates and Take3 microvolume plates. The unique dual optics design provides superior performance for UV-Vis absorbance, fluorescence, luminescence, and AlphaScreen\/ AlphaLISA workflows. Automatic ELISA plate washer makes the ELISAs efficient.\u00a0 The staff welcome research collaborations with external
