The event celebrated the successful development of a novel seven-plant cosmetic ingredient by a research team led by Professor P A Nimal Punyasiri of the Institute of Biochemistry, Molecular Biology &amp; Biotechnology (IBMBB), together with co-investigators Professor Kanchana Abeysekara and Professor Kaushalya Abeysekara.This research was funded by National Research Council of Sri Lanka.<\/p><p>The event also celebrated the successful collaboration with the commercial partner, Nature\u2019s Beauty Creations Ltd., the manufacturer of the renowned Nature\u2019s Secrets brand, which played a pivotal role in translating the research innovation into a market-ready cosmetic ingredient.
