Placements for Commonwealth Scholarships

IBMBB is one of the institutes recognized for hosting Queen Elizabeth Commonwealth Scholars (QECS) by the Association of Commonwealth Universities. MSc in Molecular Life Sciences and MSc in Cellular & Molecular Immunology programmes offered by IBMBB will admit Commonwealth Scholars through Ministry of Education, Sri Lanka.

Those who wish to apply (Foreign Applicants Only) for Queen Elizabeth Commonwealth Scholarships can also apply for  MSc Programmes at IBMBB, simultaneously. A separate application should be made to the MSc Programmes at IBMBB at the same time you apply for the QECS by following the link to submit your qualifications and register for the Online Selection Test.

Closing Date: Applications close on 10 June 2025.

Please note that only applicants with required qualifications AND those who passed the Online Selection Test conducted by IBMBB will be eligible to follow the MSc programmes at IBMBB.

Applicants should make a payment of USD 15 as the application processing and online selection test fee.
