Inauguration of the 5^th batch of the Masters Program in Bioinformatics jointly offered by the IBMBB and the UCSC was held on 7^th March 2025. The inauguration speech was delivered by the Vice Chancellor of the University of Colombo, Prof H D Karunarathne. The two Directors and some of the staff members from IBMBB and UCSC attended the ceremony along with the 37 enrolled students of the 2025 intake. The inauguration lecture was delivered by Prof Erik Bongcam-Rudloff, Professor in Bioinformatics, SLU, Sweden.
