PROJECT ASSISTANT (ON CONTRACT)
Applications will be entertained from suitably qualified applicants for the following post at the Institute of Biochemistry, Molecular Biology and Biotechnology (IBMBB), University of Colombo.
Minimum Qualifications:
1. Should possess a degree in Finance/Accountancy/ Business Management/ Commerce
or equivalent qualification from a recognized University/ Institute
2. Must be a citizen of Sri Lanka.
3. Should possess a good command of English.
4. Must be proficient in using computer application software.
5. Must have a good character.
Age : between 18 and 45 years on the closing date of the
Remuneration : Rs. 61,150/- per month
Period of Contract : One year
This appointment is on a contract basis, initially for one year. However, the University may consider extending the service of the selected candidate, depending on satisfactory performance and the University’s requirements during the contract period.
The selected candidate will be a member of the Employee Provident Fund as well as of the Employee Trust Fund. He/ She will contribute 8% of his/her monthly salary to the Employee Provident Fund and at the same time the Institute will contribute 12% to the Employee Provident Fund. The Institute will make a contribution equivalent to 3% of his/her monthly salary to the Employee Trust Fund.
