IBMBB will entertain applications from suitably qualified persons for the following posts up to 23rd September 2025.
- Scientific Assistant – Grade II (Bioinformatics)
- Management Assistant (Grade III)
- Laboratory Attendant (Grade III)
- Driver (Grade III)
- Works Aide (Grade III)

Scheme of Recruitment and relevant details can be obtained from the Deputy Registrar, IBMBB, University of Colombo by personally calling over or by visiting the University web site (www.ibmbb.cmb.ac.lk).
After submitting the application through online a hard copy of the duly completed application also should be forwarded with copies of relevant educational (with transcripts), professional, extra curricular activities and service certificates under registered post to reach the Deputy Registrar, IBMBB, University of Colombo, No. 90, Cumaratunga Munidasa Mawatha, Colombo 03 on or before the 23.09.2025.
The post applied for should be marked on the top left corner of the envelope.
Applicants who are employees of University System, Government Departments, State Corporations and Statutory Bodies should forward their applications through the Head of their respective institutions but may send an advance copy in the first instance. However, no such applicant will be considered for interview, if the application channelled through the Head of the Department is not received.
Applications will not be entertained personally, and the University will not bear any responsibility for such submissions.
Incomplete & illegible applications, applications which are not attached with supportive documents and applications received by the Institute after the closing date will be rejected without intimation.
